We really liked this New York City Skyline photo and thought you readers might too.

The beauty of this image is in the dark detail. If you study it a while you find some interesting items. The photo was made by taking several images from one spot and then photo-stitching them together.
This video has a whole lot of the feel of New York City.
The Take the A Train theme fits it perfectly.
Enjoy.
Different subject:
Did you know that much of New York City’s underground train system is also below sea level? During the World Trade Center Recovery effort the one primary fear was that the so called bathtub, the retainer wall around the WTC complex, might cave inward and that would allow open sea water to rush in from the river and destroy, perhaps in a manner unrecoverable, the whole NYC Transit system.
Please watch this video about the Katrina Disaster and the cause of the flooding. It is poignant to say the least and we should keep it in mind that this could happen to New York City also.
We have been using Google Earth maps for details of neighborhoods and they work very well.
There is another new company that has some pretty cool interactive maps that are set up by neighborhoods, and when you roll your mouse over stores and companies in the database you get a little pop-up window giving the name of the business and a little information about it.
There is even a way to submit your own ratings of stores and restaurants.
One other item we want to call your attention to is that we have never thanked our website design and hosting company before. Please visit LinkMoney.org and see if they can do anything for you. Read more »
