New York City has the widest variety and some of the finest restaurants in the world.  Eating NYC will be a regular part of this blog from now on.

We will post our own thoughts and reviews as well as tell you about what others are saying about NYC food and dining.

My personal favorite Pizza in the village.

Here’s the deal, my daughter has lived in Greenwich Village, Lower East Side area for many years. About 15 years ago she turned me on to John’s Pizza on Bleeker Street and I now use this as a mile marker to compare all other pizza’s in the world. They do not know me except by sight, and I have not received any money or pizza for this, it is my heartfelt opinion. – Rich Hill.     I have heard this before that you can get every type of food across the world in New York City. This seems to be true; it is pleasure reading this wonderful list of eating joints in the city. Thanks for sharing your reviews on the same.

    Well it does seem to be so to me also. I always marvel as how you can walk just a few blocks and find all ethnicities and price levels represented.
    We intend to make this a regular feature of the City-NewYork.com Blog and have our people gathering more information now.
